Downtown Bloomfield's ongoing revival continues with the approval of a large-scale mixed-use project at 26 Farrand Street.

The franchise will be serving the chain’s new menu but will stick to the delicious basics of burgers grilled to order and milkshakes plus french fries, tater tots, and onion rings.

Six years after opening along Washington Street in Jersey City’s Paulus Hook neighborhood, Satis Bistro held a grand opening celebration for its new outpost at 289 Glenwood Avenue in Bloomfield last month.

Essex County has long been known for its houses, and rich history as an urban escape that’s commutable but quieter than Hudson County and Manhattan. Just down the road from populated Montclair, Bloomfield is getting a reboot.

While several of New Jersey’s northern cities are experiencing a revitalization not seen in a generation, the trickle-out effect into the suburbs has also started to pick up some steam. Earlier this week, a new boutique community called The Green at Bloomfield opened up in Bloomfield.
