Although Hackensack Plank Road is one of the oldest routes in Weehawken, it could soon be home to the town’s newest building.
A new proposal calls for a residential structure to be constructed at 115-117 Hackensack Plank Road between Gregory Avenue and Ridgley Place. Should Preliminary and Final Site Plan approval with variances for use, density, height, and parking be granted by the Weehawken Board of Adjustments (BOA) to the developer, the multifamily building would be five stories tall and include 18 units, according to a legal notice from the Alonso & Navarrete Law Firm from North Bergen. One private parking space would be provided for each of the apartments.
The development is being proposed by ET Management & Investors, LLC, a company that is registered out of a house in Fair Lawn, Bergen County. NJ Parcels records show that ET bought the premises, which consist of a three-bedroom house and a garage, in 2016 for $390,000.
The BOA’s meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12 in the Town Hall Council Chambers.
