Developers Ironstate Development and KRE Group recently began marketing their 549-unit tower at 235 Grand Street in downtown Jersey City. The development, located in the Liberty Harbor section of Jersey City, includes studio, one-, and two-bedroom units for rent.

KRE and Ironstate tapped The Marketing Directors for their latest development, located immediately adjacent to their 225 Grand joint-venture completed in 2011 and close to their 18 Park project which opened in 2015.

“Located just blocks from the Hudson River waterfront, 235 Grand seamlessly unites contemporary design with the neighborhood’s vibrant history, while placing residents just steps from an array of restaurants, bars, cafes, museums, parks and public transportation,” Ironstate and KRE Group said in a news release. “The building offers proximity to NY Waterway and the Grove Street PATH Station with service to Lower and Midtown Manhattan, while the nearby Newark Avenue Pedestrian Plaza – Jersey City’s Restaurant Row – bustles with food, cocktails, rooftop bars and outdoor community events.”

235 Grand was designed by HLW International and Bentel & Bentel. The 46-story tower includes amenities such as a fitness center, co-working spaces, an enclosed parking garage, and a roof terrace, to name a few.

As previously reported by Jersey Digs, the site of 235 Grand was home to the Boys and Girls Club of Hudson County for over 30 years.

235 Grand is located less than half a mile from Panepinto Properties and Ironstate Development’s recently opened 90 Columbus residential tower and the Grove Street PATH Station.

KRE Group recently secured construction financing for its first residential project in the City of Bayonne.
