After much anticipation, Ample Hills Creamery is opening its doors to Jersey City this Friday at 12pm. The Brooklyn-based craft ice cream company will open at 200 Greene Street – the retail space at Urby – their first location in New Jersey.
Ample Hills was started by husband and wife team Brian Smith and Jackie Cuscuna who opened their first location in Prospect Heights in the spring of 2011. Since then, the company has grown dramatically and is poised to become a leader in the industry, a la Ben and Jerry’s.
According to a sign in the window, the first 100 scoops on Friday will be free, so make sure to get there early!
