A new Italian restaurant has come to a Jersey City storefront that has already contained several other businesses over the last decade.
La Dolce Vita opened its doors on Saturday at 398 Central Avenue in The Heights, according to the Central Avenue Special Improvement District.
The trattoria and deli includes plenty of seating for customers who are dining in but also offers a to-go menu.
Customers will find an extensive selection at the new business, which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition to cheeses, soups, pasta, salads, and traditional entrees, La Dolce Vita also offers burgers and breakfast sandwiches such as pancetta, egg, and cheese.
The space, located diagonally across from the corner of Thorne Street, was previously occupied by an outpost of Union City’s Teri Teri Japanese Restaurant.
Additional recent occupants of the storefront have included Orange and Olive Caterers along with Klotzer’s Gift Shop.
