The area between Hamilton Park and Newport will be getting a new bubble tea option in the coming months as Uni Uni will be making their first Garden State foray into Jersey City.
The Chicago-based brand, born and bred in that city’s Chinatown neighborhood, has expanded their footprint to 12 locations in the Windy City since launching. They are now franchising across the country, and their trailblazing East Coast store will be on the ground floor at 485 Marin Boulevard.
Uni Uni’s drink menu includes everything from classic milk teas to fruit teas and smoothies. Some of their drinks are seasonal, with highlights including a lychee jasmine green tea latte or a matcha latte with honey red bean.
The business additionally serves a selection of “Uni snacks” that include “croffles,” which are a cross between a croissant and a waffle with a variety of toppings. Other snacks include both sweet and savory varieties; chicken nuggets, French toast sticks, Taiwanese sausages, popcorn chicken, and a taiyaki dessert.
Uni Uni Bubble Tea has not yet announced a timeline for the opening of their Jersey City location, but construction is officially underway at the property. The brand can be followed on Instagram at the handle @uniuni_us for further updates.
