A local strip mall is now home to three new businesses.

The Twin City Shopping Center now contains locations of Taco Bell, Kidz Village, and a cellphone repair business called 1HourRepair.com, according to a statement from Levin Management. As the name implies, the plaza is located by the border of Bayonne and Jersey City.

The standalone Taco Bell location is owned by Rupal Patel and Nirav Mehta. It joins Jersey City’s existing Taco Bell locations at the Newport Centre Mall, in Journal Square, and on Route 440. Meanwhile, Kidz Village, which is described in the statement as an “indoor playground” designed for children ages 10 and under, has suburban locations in Kenilworth and Woodbridge. 1HourRepair.com is based in Paterson.

The exterior of the 94,000-square-foot plaza at 2-36 Garfield Avenue was upgraded a few years ago and a Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen location opened inside in 2017. The shopping center’s anchor tenant is currently Aqui Market, though the space previously contained locations of Twin City Supermarket and Acme.
