Newport’s lunch crowd is about to get healthy new option. As we reported back in August, NYC-based salad chain, Just Salad was in the process of opening their first location in New Jersey. Well, today is the day. The salad company just announced they’ve officially opened their Newport location on the second floor of Newport Tower at 525 Washington Blvd.
To celebrate the grand opening, Just Salad is hosting a private ribbon cutting event this evening with Mayor Steven Fulop.
Founded in 2006 in Manhattan, Just Salad has quickly grown to 31 locations in New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Hong Kong, and Dubai and employs over 1000 people. The company offers an impressive lineup of quality proteins like free-range grass fed beef, antibiotic-free humanely raised chicken, sustainable seafood, and organic tofu.
