Well, it’s official! Jersey City won the 2016 Curbed Cup, taking the title of NYC neighborhood of the year. This marks the first time a neighborhood *outside* of NYC won the competition.

Jersey City’s Riverview-Fisk Park is finally getting a new gazebo. It’s been four years since Hurricane Sandy’s winds blew the roof off the historic structure. Now, the Riverview Neighborhood Association has unveiled plans for a replacement for the destroyed gazebo.

A new mixed-use building has been proposed for 342 Johnston Avenue, at the northern corner of Whiton Street, in the Lafayette Park Redevelopment Plan Area. Developer RUC Holdings, LLC is seeking preliminary and final major site plan approval for the project.
