The last portion of an income-restricted housing development will be wrapping construction later this year and is now accepting applications for the new residences that are coming to Atlantic County.

A housing lottery for Cornerstone at Galloway III, a premium apartment community developed by Walters, is now open to interested applicants. Located at 110 South Wrangleboro Road in Galloway, the community will feature 66 new units.

Cornerstone at Galloway III will be available to residents whose incomes are at or below 60 percent of the area median income, with rates based on the renter’s gross annual income. The lottery’s drawing will take place on Monday, March 9.

“At Walters, we’re proud to provide vital income-based apartments and services to people who need it the most,” said Joe Del Duca, partner and director of Affordable Housing for Walters. “Our LEED certified developments create direct and indirect benefits – helping residents of varied income levels while making a positive economic and environmental impact on the community. We take a hands-on approach, building to a high standard and maintaining our properties over the long term. Overall, our goal is to provide residents with the opportunity to live, work, and play directly within the communities they serve.”

Cornerstone at Galloway III is the final phase of a three-phase family community, which first opened back in 2025. The third section is currently under construction and on track for completion during the spring of 2026.

Layouts in the final phase will include one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, with residents having a private front entrance that opens directly to the street. Apartments will feature full-size washers/dryers, fully equipped kitchens, window blinds in every room, and secure key fob access.

Amenities at the complex include a multipurpose clubhouse with a state-of-the-art fitness center, a children’s playground, a basketball court, computer workstations, and onsite parking. In addition to managing the property, Walters provides residents with on-site supportive services.

Applications to enter the housing lottery will be accepted through Monday, March 2, through the development’s website. Inquiries for Cornerstone at Galloway III can also be made by phone by calling (609) 607-9500.
