The 70-unit Cornerstone at Lacey III affordable housing apartment complex in the Forked River section of Lacey Township near the Jersey Shore has reached full capacity, according to Walters Apartments.
Walters, the Barnegat-based developer and property manager, noted that Lacey III is the third and final phase of multifamily properties that include Lacey I and Lacey II in Ocean County.
“Expanding access to affordable housing is essential, especially for those who want to live at the Jersey Shore but might otherwise be priced out,” Joe Del Duca, partner and director of affordable housing for Walters, said in a statement.
Rentals are restricted to tenants who earn 60% or less of the area’s median income.
The one- to three-bedroom apartments at Lacey III have individual exterior entrances.
Walters uses its Cornerstone brand for both affordable family communities and affordable senior complexes throughout New Jersey.
