A hospitality group known for their curated menu plus expansive beer and cocktail selections will soon be bringing their 84th restaurant to the largest entertainment complex in the Garden State.

California-based Yard House is set to open their latest outpost inside East Rutherford’s American Dream on November 15. Situated on the third floor at suite #A325, Yard House’s third New Jersey restaurant follows other locations at the Moorestown Mall and Wayne’s Willowbrook Mall, which opened earlier this year.

Founded in 1996 in Long Beach, the company behind Yard House runs restaurants in 28 states that are built around its bar. The eclectic food menu at Yard House features everything from the restaurant’s signature Poke Nachos to street tacos, USDA prime burgers, seafood and steaks, and pizza options. The eatery also features a fairly extensive garden menu for those looking for a vegetarian-friendly meat substitute.

The American Dream location will have more than two miles of beer lines for a total of about 130 beers including a selection of regional brews. Local offerings on tap at the upcoming Yard House include Angry Dad Amber Ale by Angry Dad Brewery, Captain Lawrence Citra Dreams Hazy IPA by Captain Lawrence Brewing, and Milkman Oatmeal Stout by Cricket Hill Brewing.

Yard House’s latest location is expected to bring more than 165 jobs to the area and those interested in working at the restaurant can apply for jobs online at yardhouse.com/careers.

The upcoming restaurant is the latest bit of good news for the long-beleaguered American Dream, which was under construction for almost two decades before finally opening in 2020 just in time for a global pandemic. The 3.3-million-square-foot facility, located across from MetLife Stadium, currently hosts about 130 stores that include heavyweights like Saks Fifth Avenue and Tiffany.

The realities of modern retail have caused owners Triple Five to pivot toward entertainment with the facility’s offerings, with a Nickelodeon Universe facility and a DreamWorks Water Park recently opening at the complex.

A Sea Life Aquarium and Legoland Discovery Center made their debut last May, joining other attractions like Big Snow and several mini-golf courses. In addition, Hasbro recently announced a project called The Game Room that will bring a themed arcade to the development.
