A new Sprouts Farmers Market is coming to Somerset Shopping Center in Bridgewater. The specialty grocery chain inked a lease for a 28,750-square-foot footprint. The move brings a long-sought-after grocery anchor to the 219,000-square-foot shopping complex. The property is strategically located on Route 202/206 in Somerset County near the Somerville Circle. Phoenix-based Sprouts Farmers Market currently has five stores in New Jersey.
North Plainfield-based Levin Management Corporation (LMC) is the leasing and managing agent for the Bridgewater property. LMC leasing reps Vanessa Kelty and Ed Vasconcellos worked on behalf of the landlord in the deal while Mike Horn and Steven Winters of RIPCO Real Estate repped Sprouts Farmers Market.

The new lease is a significant milestone for Somerset Shopping Center. The new Sprouts will join Barnes & Noble as an anchor and further fortify the center’s overall business mix. Other recent additions include Boot Barn, Fred Astaire Dance Studio, Strand Salon Studios, and Style Brow Bar, plus D1 Training is coming soon. Other merchants at the complex include Men’s Wearhouse, Gap Factory, Optimum, Fortunoff Backyard Store, Liquor Cave, Norman’s Hallmark, Pearle Vision, and Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa. Additional leasing opportunities at the Somerset County center include spaces of 6,000, 22,183, and 16,947 square feet.
