The Embankment Preservation Coalition is hosting a fundraising happy hour at Barcade tonight, Thursday, September 15th. Drop by from 6:30 to 10:30 pm to talk about the community’s hopes for the historic Harsimus Branch and its much-loved Embankment.

Barcade’s owners are sponsoring a fundraiser for the Coalition. For each beer sold between noon and closing at 2 am, they will donate $1 to the Coalition.

The Coalition will also ask you to sign a comment to send to the Surface Transportation Board regarding its historic preservation review process.

Barcade is a neighborhood business that keeps it green, selling regionally sourced beers and using eco-friendly products and practices. With Barcade’s focus on sustainability, it’s natural that the business has been a Coalition sponsor.
