An oversized one bedroom at 140 Bay was listed just over a week ago at $699k. With a spacious 980 sf, the condo stays true to its converted warehouse roots. Industrial elements include 12’ concrete ceilings, exposed ducts, and an open floor plan. Though I would prefer the kitchen have an island, especially since there’s space to add one in, I like the fact that the upper cabinets are stainless steel, while the bottoms are light wood. The bathroom is also truly unique, with the shower giving off futuristic vibes with a rain shower, floor to ceiling tile and a marble vanity (though I wish it had more storage space). Overall, it’s great to see more units that are taking architectural and decorative risks hitting the market.
