In advance of the partial re-opening of New Jersey’s restaurants, both cities are implementing plans to assist eateries in keeping patrons safe while expanding sidewalk and street dining areas.

Several of the upcoming routes aim to better link the city’s east to west cycling infrastructure, as new lanes are coming to both a main corridor and a rapidly developing street in the Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood.

The developers of The Wave at Newport in Jersey City are now planning two fewer units, but also want to include a pool and “expanded amenities lounge.”

Three companies will soon commence the opening portion of the transformative project, which will develop 16 vacant acres into mixed-use buildings that include a 35% affordable housing component.

Both units at 26 Grace Street feature three bedrooms and two full floors of living space plus a shared garage.
