After acquiring and integrating three Hudson County hospitals, Hudson Regional Health (HRH) has emerged as the fourth-largest healthcare system in New Jersey.
HRH unveiled an extensive rebrand, including new hospital names and its new “Technology Transforming Care” strategy for the future. The network formally launched in May with the court-approved acquisition of the CarePoint Health hospitals in Bayonne, Jersey City, and Hoboken.
The new four-hospital network comprises Secaucus University Hospital (formerly Hudson Regional Hospital), Hoboken University Hospital (formerly Hoboken University Medical Center), Bayonne University Hospital (formerly Bayonne Medical Center), and The Heights University (formerly Christ Hospital, Jersey City). These facilities are now integrated as one system with 1,500 affiliated doctors and 5,000 employees.

The pillars of HRH’s growth strategy include leadership, investment, and community engagement. This includes recruiting and retaining top specialists and physician groups, streamlining operations across the network, ongoing renovation system-wide, expanding breakthrough technology to all facilities, and employing the HRH foundation to increase community programs and education.
HRH is already delivering on its new tagline, “Technology Transforming Care,” introducing new hospital capabilities. These advancements include AI-enhanced diagnostic tools in radiology and imaging, robotic-assisted surgery utilizing the Da Vinci XI Surgical System, and the area’s first Stealth Navigation-guided cranial surgery.
