Hosted by the American Legion Post 107 in Hoboken, the special fundraiser on Thursday, January 11th, promises to be an exciting night at the Kolo Klub and will include food, drinks, and a silent auction, benefitting the American Legion’s current and future endeavors to help homeless veterans.

The fundraiser hopes to raise money to supplement Federal and County funds for the $1 million capital campaign and rebuilding effort post-Superstorm Sandy. A new community center, providing more comprehensive and efficient services on American Legion Post 107’s current site at 308 Second Street, is in the works as is additional new housing for veterans —a vital initiative that is the first of its kind to be undertaken by an American Legion post.

The event will be held at the Kolo Klub (1422 Grand Street), and guests will enjoy live music, an open bar, and raffle prizes from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tickets for the 2018 NJ Devils, NY Giants, NY Jets, and NY Yankees seasons as well as a flat-screen television, military memorabilia, and restaurant gift certificates are among the unique items up for silent auction.

Tickets are $85 per person and can be purchased here. Corporate donations are accepted and sponsorship opportunities are also available.

The American Legion, an all-volunteer organization, is committed to the men and women who served in the armed forces. Buy a ticket or donate today to help the American Legion Post 107 in Hoboken provide essential programs and facilities for the brave men and women who are too often underserved.
