BikeJC Opens Up Registration for 2016 Jersey City Ward Tour

0

BikeJC has opened up registration for their 7th Annual Jersey City Ward Tour. The 15-mile tour takes riders on a police escorted, relaxed (10mph) ride through all wards of Jersey City. This year’s route is slightly different from previous years; they’re starting at City Hall and finishing in Liberty State Park. A Finish Line Festival is planned in the park following the ride that will include “food trucks, a beer garden, live bands including Jersey favorites The NERDS, and the Horizon Wellness Village.”

This is a great, healthy way to experience all the diversity Jersey City has to offer. The event is free but registration is required. An optional $5 suggested donation is appreciated to help fund the event.

You can register here: 2016 Jersey City Ward Tour

They’re also hosting an open call for volunteers tonight (5/18) at 7:30 at City Hall, 280 Grove St., 2nd Floor, in the Council Chambers. You can sign up to volunteer here.
