Real Estate Weekly announced that Cushman & Wakefield’s Metropolitan Area Capital Markets Group has been retained as the exclusive sales agent for a 95 acre land parcel located on Jersey City’s West Side.
The parcel, also known as Bayfront, will include residential, office and retail uses. An important feature of the land is the public waterfront access to the Hackensack River. Honeywell, the company that owns Bayfront LLC, has plans to make use of the waterfront space by developing parks, recreation area, and a waterfront walkway.
“The Bayfront redevelopment plan sets in motion the next chapter of a key section of Jersey City’s West Side,” said Jersey City Mayor Steven M. Fulop. “This project transforms former industrial, commercial, and municipal sites into a new mixed-use urban neighborhood that will be a model of environmentally conscious design and a vibrant new community.”
