The Goldstein Group this week announced that Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has signed a 2,510-square-foot lease in Pompton Plains, New Jersey. The new premises will be located at the pad site under construction at Plaza 23, 500 Route 23 North, Pompton Plains.
Chris Conway, Director for The Goldstein Group, represented the tenant in the negotiations while Rob Murphy from Philips Edison & Company represented the landlord, Plaza 23 Station LLC.
“The free-standing pad site offers Popeyes outstanding visibility,” noted Chuck Lanyard, President of The Goldstein Group. “Plaza 23 is a strong neighborhood shopping center anchored by a grocery market and Jackson Avenue is a heavily traveled road leading to the local communities.”
Plaza 23 is anchored by stores such as Stop & Shop, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, Smashburger, Verizon Wireless, Moe’s Southwest Grill, GNC, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Playa Bowls, Vision Works, and Sally Beauty.
Founded as a single retail store in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1972, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has over 2,700 restaurants in the U.S. and around the world.
The Goldstein Group is a commercial real estate brokerage firm based in Paramus, New Jersey.
