Levin Management Corporation (LMC) recently announced that Wu’s Shanghai Dumpling House is opening at the North Village Shopping Center in North Brunswick, New Jersey.
Originally established in Edison, New Jersey, the upcoming second location at North Village Shopping Center will be the flagship of the New Jersey restaurant. The 3,400-square-foot, long-term lease was arranged by LMC Leasing Representative Ed Vasconcellos III.
“Wu’s Shanghai Dumpling House has experienced tremendous success in Edison, where it has grown a substantial, loyal following,” said Vasconcellos. “The restaurant is a local, family business, and as North Brunswick residents, the owners are fully dedicated to providing the same outstanding service to the community here. North Village Shopping Center appeals to a discerning customer, looking for a high-quality shopping and dining experience, making this the ideal location for the brand’s growth. Wu’s Shanghai Dumpling House is a welcome addition to the center, and will certainly enhance and complement the great array of retailers and restaurants at the property.”
The North Village Shopping Center occupies a prime location on a main thoroughfare which boasts a traffic count of more than 100,000 vehicles per day. The center serves a growing residential population of 128,000 people within a three-mile radius and is anchored by Bed Bath & Beyond and Michaels Arts & Crafts. It also contains a Trader Joe’s along with retailers Staples, Ulta Beauty, Panera Bread, Smashburger, Chili’s, and Lux Nails.
Wu’s hand-made dumplings and other offerings are known for their traditional flavors and quality ingredients. Inspired by 50 years of experience cooking in Shanghai restaurants, standout features include scallion and pumpkin pancakes, herbal matcha bubble tea, savory ramen-like noodle soups, and a variety of dim sum.
