One of the Garden State’s most prominent developers is slated to move into new modern digs later this year, as Russo Development is putting the finishing touches on its new headquarters on land just off several major highways.
Russo Development has begun the buildout of its new 45,000-square-foot headquarters in Paramus. The company, which was founded in Hackensack in 1969 and later relocated to Carlstadt, is hailing the project as a new chapter in its nearly 50-year history.
The three-story building looks to modernize its workspace and support its sprawling portfolio. The new headquarters is set to feature multiple congregation areas for both large and small groups, alongside amenities such as game rooms, a fitness center, and an on-site dining lounge.

“Russo Development’s success has always been about our people and our communities,” said CEO Edward Russo in a statement. “Our new headquarters will be a modern workplace built to inspire, connect, and perform.”
The company’s new headquarters, which will also feature a notable roof deck, will sit just north of the Paramus Park Mall and adjacent to the Garden State Parkway. The complex, which will be visible from Route 17, is slated for completion in the fall of 2026.
Russo Development operates the Vermella brand, which has buildings everywhere from Newark to Union and beyond. The company recently completed Vermella Paramus, which consists of 360 apartments and 16,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
Russo Development also recently broke ground on a new 211-unit Vermella property in downtown Rahway, which sits at the corner of Essex and Bridge Streets. Initial occupancy at that project is expected by spring 2027.
