For over a decade now, a West New York pastry shop has been attracting no shortage of customers to its Bergenline Avenue storefront. In fact, two years ago, the Dulce de Leche Bakery opened a second location a few miles away on Central Avenue in Jersey City Heights. Now, residents of a suburban Bergen County city will have their chance to sample the desserts, sandwiches, and coffee of this growing Argentine chain.

Dulce de Leche announced on Instagram last week that the company’s next bakery will be located in Englewood. The location will be across from William Street at 55 West Palisade Avenue, not far from the Bergen Performing Arts Center.

“We are, at heart, a small family business with big hopes and dreams,” the bake shop wrote. “This third store is a realization of many of those hopes and dreams, none of which, would be possible without you, our fiercely loyal customers.”

The space was previously occupied by locations of Group USA and Sleepy’s but has sat vacant in recent years.

At its existing two locations, Dulce de Leche serves breakfast and lunch items such as omelettes, sandwiches, choripan, empanadas, and ravioli, along with a variety of cakes, pies, pastries, and coffee flavors.
