One of the world’s biggest manufacturers of watches and consumer electronics will be setting up a major portion of their footprint in the Garden State as Casio will be calling Hudson and Morris counties home in the coming months.
The company, founded in 1957, recently announced several moves designed to modernize operations and position Casio for long-term success. They include the establishment of a new headquarters at 185 Hudson Street in Jersey City, also known as Harborside 5.
Casio’s Jersey City space will serve as the hub for sales and marketing, with the company praising the property’s proximity to key business hubs that will provide access to customers, vendors, and talent pool.
The other Garden State news involving Casio involves them setting up a new Operations Center in Rockaway at 100 Enterprise Drive inside a seven-story office complex called The Mark. That property house company’s finance, IT, HR, customer service, legal, and business administration departments.

“This is a strategic investment in Casio’s future,” said Tom Kato, Chairman and CEO of Casio America. “By embracing modern work environments, expanding access to key talent, and optimizing operations, we are ensuring Casio remains at the forefront of innovation, efficiency, and long-term growth.”
Casio will additionally be setting up a new distribution center in Sparks, Nevada as part of the re-shuffling. The company says they remain fully committed to supporting employees throughout this transition by offering commuter benefits, flexible work arrangements, and enhanced workplace resources.
Casio is currently situated on a campus in Dover that they expect to sell by the end of this year. While the moves to their new digs haven’t been set in stone, a 2026 move-in date is anticipated at both properties.
