Bluemercury, one of the biggest beauty brands in the country will be launching their Hoboken outpost with a celebratory offer to customers that show up on opening day.

Jersey Digs broke the news last summer about Bluemercury’s pending arrival in Hoboken. The Washington, D.C.-based company is bringing a 2,444-square foot location to 230 Washington Street and will officially be opening on Friday, April 8.

Bluemercury will celebrate their newest store by offering opening day customers a complimentary 10-piece deluxe sample bag, their “Conscious Beauty Set,” with any purchase of $150 or more. The new location will continue to offer contactless curbside pick-up and ship-to-home services for those looking to shop at a distance.

Bluemercury, founded in 1999 by Marla and Barry Beck, is renowned for selling the “world’s most innovative beauty products in a truly unique shopping experience.” The Hoboken store will offer a variety of trend-driven and cult-favorite that includes award-winning skincare and cosmetics lines M-61 Skincare and Lune+Aster, both of which are exclusive to Bluemercury.

Consumers can also discover the retailer’s newly curated Active Lifestyle category, which features a selection of skincare, fitness equipment, muscle relief solutions, self-cleaning water bottles, supplements, and more.

Hoboken has been on Bluemercury’s radar for several years, with the brand initially planning to open inside a renovated building at 313 Washington Street. That deal ended up falling through and a Lululemon opened in their place during 2019.
