A premium Taiwanese-style tea and drink spot is now open for business in Jersey City as I’Milky have launched their first Garden State location in a Journal Square storefront.
The business quietly opened what is their sixth outpost inside 40 Journal Square last month. I’Milky initially opened in Midtown Manhattan and quickly expanded their footprint throughout the Big Apple in recent years.
I’Milky specializes in bubble teas and utilizes hand-picked Taiwanese tea leaves and milk that is delivered daily to their shops from local farms. The boba-ristas cook their tapioca balls in-house every four hours to guarantee peak freshness.
Because the brand focuses on utilizing the freshest ingredients in their drinks, I’Milky is big on seasonally rotating items. Their summer concoctions included a Pink-O-Colada and a Strawberry Lemonade Slush, while a highlight of their current winter options include a Chestnut Mont Blanc with fresh chestnut puree.
I’Milky also offers freshly made rice balls and bento boxes to accompany the beverages. Their Journal Square location is open daily from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m.
