The Powerhouse Arts District is getting yet another tower. Unlike its sky-high neighbors, this one at 321 Warren Street tops out at 18 stories. The rather boutique tower will have 180 residential units above 2400 square feet of ground floor retail and a 14,000 square foot black box theater. The top floor of the building will house the resident amenity space featuring a fitness center, lounge and rooftop pool. The plan also calls for 18 parking spaces.
The developer on the project is Parkwood Development LLC and architect is Minervini Vandermark.
If the renderings are any indication of the final product, this will be a great addition to the neighborhood. It’s great to see developers deviating from the ubiquitous brick towers and taking some architectural risks.
