After a successful kickoff during the World Cup, Meadowlands hotel World of Blue celebrated with a ribbon-cutting, officially opening the luxury destination for overnight stays, celebrations, and events. The recently built hotel aims to offer an upscale experience to visitors, with service and amenities typically associated with Manhattan properties.
Located at 2 Meadowlands Plaza in East Rutherford, World of Blue is just minutes from American Dream and MetLife Stadium. With beautifully designed rooms and extensive event facilities, the hotel hopes to attract guests who might have chosen to stay in New York City. The goal is to serve a market seeking luxury hospitality and accommodations in close proximity to the Meadowlands’ sports, shopping, and entertainment destinations.

“The World Cup gave us an incredible opportunity to introduce World of Blue to guests from around the world, but what has been most exciting is seeing that enthusiasm continue,” noted Harvey Rosenblatt, owner of P3 Properties. “We created a property that offers a level of design, service and hospitality that is truly distinctive for this market. The ribbon cutting celebrates what we have accomplished, but more importantly, it marks the beginning of what we believe will be a very exciting future for World of Blue.”

The 21-story hotel has 427 guest rooms, more than 30,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and a main ballroom that can accommodate 1,000 guests. The property can host weddings, corporate off-sites, parties, business conferences, and any other large-scale function. World of Blue is now officially open and positioned to bring leisure travelers, business guests, and organizations to the Meadowlands.

“Our goal has always been to create something exceptional and enduring,” continued Rosenblatt. “We want World of Blue to become a destination people throughout the region know and love.”
