Taco-Tastic to Open 5th Ocean County Location in Brick

Taco-Tastic is coming to Brick, New Jersey. The popular NJ Mexican restaurant chain announced their 5th Ocean County location on their official Instagram page.

The Brick Taco-Tastic location is in Red Lion Plaza, on the corner of Drum Point Road and Old Hooper Avenue. Owners expect the Brick restaurant to be open by Summer 2023.

Taco-Tastic was founded in 2017 as Tacolicious. Their flagship location on Fischer Boulevard in Toms River became popular, and the family-owned restaurant expanded.

Taco-Tastic New Jersey Locations

The Mexican brand is now among the most popular in New Jersey, with 5 distinct Ocean County locations:

  • 793 Fischer Blvd., Toms River
  • 207 Main St., Toms River
  • 344 Route 9, Lanoka Harbor
  • 1020 Ocean Terrace (Boardwalk), Seaside Heights

Taco-Tastic’s Seaside Heights location on the Boardwalk is a seasonal facility. Its hours can be located on the company website

Taco-Tastic Menu Options

The Taco-Tastic business model is centered around made-to-order Mexican cuisine. The brand has created a popular niche with Ocean County diners as a quality alternative to “Tex-Mex fast food”.

Their menu offers 8 meat options, including traditional favorites like al Pastor and chipotle chicken. Taco-Tastic also offers a variety of fish and shrimp dishes, as well as veggie entrees.

Diners can choose from Mexican favorites not found everywhere. Try Elotes, Mexican street corn covered with mayo, cotija cheese and chili powder. 

The new Brick location will likely feature several Taco-Tastic staples, including Taco Tuesday and various weekly specials.
