UPDATE: Back in June, we gave you a peek inside this gorgeous townhouse on one of Jersey City’s best blocks. The property sold in August 2015, over asking, at $1.605M. Apparently the new owners don’t want to make use of this architectural gem, as the home is now listed for rent at $6,495/month. Dixon Leasing, who has the rental listing, is advertising one month free, which brings the price down to $5,954/month. We don’t expect this to take long to rent at all.
Look what just came on the market! An absolutely stunning townhouse on one of the most beautiful blocks in Jersey City. This particular row of homes feature the coveted New Orleans style single gallery – a rare element here in the Northeast.
I’ve been waiting for one of these to become available. Mostly to see if the insides match the beauty of the out. Spoiler alert, they do!
The homeowner, a design partner at a international architecture firm, overlooked no detail with this renovation. From the adventurous colors to bold material choices this home impresses from every room.
Broker babble aside, check out the wallpaper in the kids room and tell me that wasn’t a risk worth taking. I’m also appreciating the tile choice in the first (actually either) bathroom.
Did I mention the stainless steal kitchen cabinets? They look great but I can only imagine the nightmare it is to keep the finger prints off.
As for the backyard, I’ll leave that to the broker:
“The best kept secret is a 60′ impeccably landscaped garden designed around the concept of three “outdoor rooms”, perfect for relaxing and entertaining. Enjoy summer meals in a patio dining area directly accessed from the kitchen, lounging area with custom built Ipe wood deck and fire pit for autumn s’mores, a small lawn area and a rear patio.”
Priced at $1.575m it’s definitely on the higher end for a townhouse in Jersey City. But a property this rare you can push those limits. Even at that number I’m confident the new buyers will double their investment in under 10 years.
