Tomorrow marks another year for the Party With Purpose Hoboken 5K. This annual event brings out anywhere from 1,500 to 2,000 runners to compete in a 3.1-mile race along Hoboken’s waterfront.

Runners of all ages and skill levels will be on hand to take part and support this great cause. There are not many race routes that can compete with the view this course offers from the Empire State Building half way through to the Freedom Tower seen at the start and finish.

Party With Purpose is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that focuses on raising money for local charities through organizing fun events in the process. PWP has donated over $600,000 over the course of its lifespan thanks to great events like this and other generous donations and local sponsorships.

Race Day Details

For the young ones, there is a Kids Run at 3:30pm! This race is free!

Bag Pick Up: Starting at 5pm on Pier A, you are able to check-in and pick up your race bag. The race bags include a T-Shirt, race number, and other free goodies from race sponsors.

Warm Up: At 6pm, Devotion Yoga will be organizing a warm up session on Pier A to ensure runners are loose and ready to take on the race.

Start Time: 7pm

After Party: There will be a biergarten set up on Pier A until 10pm. All proceeds from alcohol sales will go towards Party With Purpose also! Just think, the faster you finish the race, the sooner you’ll be able to enjoy the libations with the incredible view.

Registration: If you haven’t registered already, visit Fleet Feet on 6th and Washington Street today or register on Pier A starting at 5pm tomorrow, July 12th.

General Information: It is strongly recommended you do not bring a bag to the race. There will be no bags allowed anywhere on the course and will be confiscated by the event’s security team. Pier A is a very short 3-minute walk from the Hoboken Terminal whether you take the PATH train, NJ Transit Bus, Ferry, or Light Rail.
