The developers of The Wave at Newport in Jersey City are now planning two fewer units, but also want to include a pool and “expanded amenities lounge.”

Three companies will soon commence the opening portion of the transformative project, which will develop 16 vacant acres into mixed-use buildings that include a 35% affordable housing component.

A large complex with 115 townhomes, 220 apartments, a hotel, and a restaurant could be built next to exit 36 on Interstate 78.

Both units at 26 Grace Street feature three bedrooms and two full floors of living space plus a shared garage.
