A homegrown developer with a large stake in western New Jersey will be bringing yet another multi-family complex to Pohatcong, a small town near I-78.

Branchburg-based Larken Associates recently announced that they have received approvals for their Monte View at Pohatcong development, which will be situated on High Street. The company is quite familiar with the Warren County spot that borders the Delaware River, having already constructed the 198-unit Autumn Ridge community and the 414-unit Warren Heights development within the township’s limits.

Larken Associates’ latest endeavor will consist of 120 units within three multi-story garden-style buildings plus one four-story elevatored building complete with a ground-level clubhouse. The nine-acre site will also feature a resort-style amenity package with a pool, a dog run, and a fitness center.

“A decades-long commitment to bringing high-quality, luxury residential experiences to underserved markets like Pohatcong stands at the heart of our residential development platform,” said David Gardner, President and CEO of Larken Associates. “We are excited to celebrate the construction of Monte View at Pohatcong as it will be the next chapter in the growth of our multifamily portfolio.”

Construction on Monte View at Pohatcong is slated to begin by mid-2023, with work estimated to wrap on the project sometime during early 2025. Besides their significant presence in the Garden State, Larken Associates also manages 22 communities totaling approximately 2,500 residential units across the entire Northeast region.
