A brand-new boutique rental building in Montclair, New Jersey, is experiencing strong leasing activity immediately following their grand opening. The Montclarion at Bay Street is located downtown at 125 Bloomfield Avenue, right next to the NJ Transit Bay Street Station, taking full advantage of a town known as “Where The Suburb Meets The City.”

Oversized one and two bedroom residences, ranging from 745 square feet to 1,522 square feet, start at $2,250 and $2,650 respectively. The apartments feature upscale interiors, including over 9-foot ceiling heights, hardwood floors, large windows with Juliette balconies, modern open kitchens, plenty of closet space, and a washer/dryer. And there are seven Penthouse apartments with expansive outdoor terraces.

Designed by Sionas Architecture, the five-story LEED building is all brick and glass, a contemporary complement to downtown Montclair. Residents are welcomed by an elegant two-story lobby and enjoy a fitness room, bike racks, rooftop patio, a business center and lounge, and covered parking.

Value Asset Management (VAM), the exclusive leasing and management agent, reports that 50% of the 40 residences have been leased and the building is really starting to come to life. “We’re thrilled by the positive feedback we’ve received from our first residents, who are enjoying its modern, designer homes, unique urban/suburban environment and great access to mass transportation and all that downtown Montclair is known for,” said developer Richard Polton.
