Route 31 Bus Service to Livingston and Maplewood Could End January 1st
The bus service has been operating from Newark Penn Station to the suburbs for decades but a new proposal could cut off service to Livingston and Maplewood.

Several new complexes are either under construction or are proposed in Maplewood, the largest of which could soon be completed. The new developments will bring 100s of new residential units as well as commercial offerings including Essex County's first Wawa.
