More than 150 tradespeople gathered at Avora to celebrate the topping out of the 11-story, 184-unit luxury condominium building rising on the Weehawken, NJ waterfront facing midtown Manhattan.

Avora, an uberluxury condominium building in Weehawken, has topped out at 11 stories. Situated right next to the Port Imperial Ferry Terminal on the New Jersey waterfront’s edge with unobstructed views of New York City, Avora will feature 184 residences, 6,000 square feet of street-level retail space, and unparalleled amenities. Pre-construction sales started strong and initial occupancy is scheduled for early 2018.

Weehawken Mayor Richard Turner and hundreds more involved with the development gathered recently to celebrate the construction milestone. At the event, John Ho, CEO of Landsea Holdings Corporation, Avora’s developer, called the building “iconic” and a combination of “vanguard design, outstanding amenities, an incomparable waterfront setting, and progressive sustainable building practices.”

Named “Community of the Year” by the New Jersey Builder’s Association, Avora is ideal for commuters located only steps away from lightning fast ferry service to Midtown and Downtown at Port Imperial Ferry Terminal and its stunning stepped design, conceived by world-renowned architects IBI Group, maximizes the majestic views of the Hudson River and Manhattan.
