In the wake of a successful World Cup and its 39-day Dream Fan Fest, American Dream has premiered two dynamic new venues, expanding its entertainment lineup. The 60,000-square-foot Event Center and the Dream Live Performing Arts Center are now officially open, joining the mega-mall’s sizable roster of attractions.
With more than 60,000 square feet of space, the Event Center opened just before the World Cup Final. Located inside The Avenue, the East Rutherford venue is built for exhibitions, trade shows, corporate gatherings, private celebrations and large-scale hospitality events. With a flexible floor plan, the space can support all kinds of events from stage presentations to banquet-style setups with integrated projection.

The Event Center can accommodate as many as 3,500 guests, offering room for more than 300 exhibitor booths and 190 banquet tables, multiple breakout rooms, registration areas, and catering from American Dream’s many restaurants. A massive wall of windows showcases the sweeping Manhattan skyline. Event organizers and guests can also access the mall’s 105 restaurants, massive array of retail offerings, and more than 30 attractions, turning a standard trade show into a destination event.

“American Dream continues to redefine the entertainment and retail experience,” noted Roy Ghermezian, Principal at Triple Five Group. “These two state-of-the-art venues further enhance our property, allowing us to host even more world-class performances, live events, hospitality experiences, conventions and trade shows for visitors from around the world.”

The Dream Live Performing Arts Center opened on July 25 with Victory Fighting League’s VFL 4: Havoc on the Hudson. The multi-purpose venue is equipped with an L-Acoustics sound system, VIP seating and luxury suites, plus state-of-the-art lighting and video production capabilities. The East Rutherford space will host concerts, comedy, theater, and sports, with Ticketmaster handling ticketing.
