Jersey City Upfront first broke the news that Montclair’s Ani Ramen House is planning a second location in Jersey City. Now it’s reported that legendary hip-hop producer Just Blaze is part of the team behind the new spot.
According to First We Feast, Blaze first revealed the venture in a podcast interview with Rap Radar and later confirmed it to First We Feast. This will be his first foray into the restaurant scene. Based on the reviews of the noodle shop’s Montclair location, it’s safe to say Blaze picked the right partners.
In the interview with First We Feast, Blaze even hinted at taking the reigns as chef one night a month, dubbing it “Just Blaze Fridays”.
No word yet on the location, but rumors place it downtown, likely on Newark Avenue.
