A familiar name in the Jersey City bagel business has opened another location, this time in Bayonne.
A Wonder Bagels store has opened its doors at 1347 John F. Kennedy Boulevard, just across the city limit from the Greenville section of Jersey City. The space, which is within the Family Dollar Plaza, was previously occupied by the No. 1 Chinese Restaurant. The new location opened up shop a little over a month ago and is the sixth bagel place to open in this Hudson County city.
There are currently six other Wonder Bagels locations in the region, one of which is situated a few miles away from the new store in the Bayonne Crossing plaza. The business is open daily and serves breakfast and lunch and was ranked as the best bagel shop in North Jersey by The Record. Plus, according to the company website, additional locations are on the way, but it is not listed where specifically those stores would be.
