Arkansas-based coffee franchise 7 Brew Drive Thru Coffee is moving forward with a plan to open its 10th location in the Garden State along New Jersey Route 4 in Paramus. The franchise, known for its drive-thru coffees, chillers, smoothies, shakes and lemonades, recently secured site plan approval from the Paramus Planning Board for a new location at 211 Route 4 next to iFLY Paramus.
Officials voted to approve the application from G7B LLC during the planning board’s regular meeting on September 3. Documents shared by the board with Jersey Digs show the LLC intends to redevelop a portion of the parcel where iFLY is located — between the Forest Avenue ramp, Forest Avenue and Route 4.

7 Brew was founded in 2017 in Rogers, Arkansas. The coffee franchise grew to seven stands by 2020, when Brew Culture LLC acquired it. Blackstone took a majority stake in 7 Brew in 2024. The firm has more than 45,000 employees nationwide.

Plans shared by the Paramus Planning Board show the existing island in the parking lot in front of the entrance to iFLY will be removed to make way for the new building. Site plan drawings show the parking lot will be reconfigured so that, rather than the existing parking spaces at the entrance of the indoor skydiving facility, three lanes flow one-way around the new drive-thru building.

Traffic will flow from a two-way road from the Forest Avenue ramp toward the iFLY building, or north, then one way south and east, wrapping around the new building and refrigerator shed. The project will not change the existing parking lot in the parcel’s northern portion.
A report prepared by consulting firm David R. Troast LLC says the new building will span 510 square feet and include a 260-square-foot refrigeration shed. The new franchise has no dine-in option. An operations and use memorandum from the applicant states the new storefront will employ up to eight workers and operate from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
The proposed building’s color scheme will match 7 Brew’s, consisting mainly of black, brown, blue, and metallic grey features.
The project will also modify the on-site landscape and lighting scheme.
The application required two signage variances, according to a report from David R. Troast LLC.
The applicant’s memorandum states that 7 Brew has over 500 active stores nationwide and is slated to open 250 additional franchises in 2026. A map shared by the coffee franchise shows the Paramus location will be the northernmost location in New Jersey. 7 Brew’s closest location to Paramus is in Clark; however, it also has franchises in Toms River, Hazlet, Clementon, Egg Harbor and Vineland, to name a few. A post on Instagram from Boozy Burbs says that 7 Brew is also planning to open a franchise along New Jersey Route 17 in Upper Saddle River.
