NJ.com reports that the area where the old Mueller’s pasta factory was located will eventually be home to four residential towers, two of them reaching 25 stories high. Argent Ventures, the developer, will be demolishing the existing buildings that are in “poor condition,” having been vacant since 1997.

Journal Square is on the cusp of becoming the next hot neighborhood for Jersey City, given it’s proximity to the PATH station and reasonable commute time to Manhattan. With many new developments in the works, it’s only a matter of time before the area’s popularity explodes.
