Phelps Construction Group recently cut the ribbon on their new offices in Denville. The new headquarters at 255 West Main Street spans 10,000 square feet and required major interior and exterior renovations to position the company for the future.
Guests at the ceremony included Township of Denville Mayor Thomas W. Andes, partners, friends, town officials, Phelps employees and family. The event celebrated both the new facilities, but also highlighted past achievements and honored the project partners who contributed to the company’s success. All those attending were welcomed to tour the new offices and enjoy food and beverages provided by A Taco Affair, another Denville business.
“After 18 years in business, this new office marks an exciting new chapter for our company,” commented Phelps CEO Doug Phelps. “While I’m incredibly proud of the building itself, I’m even more proud of the team whose hard work brought it to life and our families who supported us every step of the way.”

The new headquarters is a significant upgrade from their longtime office space in Boonton. The renovations included aluminum longboard siding, new windows, the reinforcement of load bearing walls, and an overall contemporary style. Orange accents, the company’s corporate color, highlight the new design. To accommodate the growing company’s needs, the building features collaborative workspaces, larger meeting rooms and private offices.
Located in Boonton since 2007, Phelps has accomplished many commercial, industrial, and educational projects, including construction of the Statue of Liberty Museum. The company is currently restoring Loew’s Jersey Theater in Jersey City.
