There will soon be a new place to stay overnight in Mercer County.

The Robbinsville Zoning Board of Adjustment has approved plans for a new hotel at 1395-1399 Route 130 in the township. Their motion to grant preliminary and final site plan approval with a height waiver and design variances was memorialized on September 14, according to a notice of decision.

Sahajanandkrupa, LLC of Dublin, California, is listed as the developer. The hotel will reportedly be four stories tall and include 105 rooms and a 2,000-square-foot restaurant.

The property in question is located in the Windsor area not far from Hightstown’s downtown and Robbinsville’s BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir. This part of Mercer County was once quite rural but has increasingly been the site of suburban development in recent decades.

The premises at 1395-1399 Route 130 have long sat wooded and were sold by Cheng & Sze, LLC to Sahajanandkrupa, LLC in September 2020 for $1.5 million, according to Mercer County property records.
