The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has officially joined the Atlantic City renovation party, as the Boardwalk property just kicked off a yearlong renovation to upgrade the guest experience.
Hard Rock International recently celebrated a $50 million investment at their Atlantic City property. The resort is renovating more than 700 guest rooms, over 60 suites, and eight penthouses while refreshing various corridors and adding a pair of restaurants.
Exterior restorations to the South Tower are already underway as part of the resort’s ongoing improvements. The comprehensive project includes thorough cleanings, necessary replacements, and power washing, looking to refresh and enhance the building’s appearance.
Other improvements already in motion include new carpet installation on the casino floor and the second-floor corridor, plus new EV charging stations that just became available to the public 24/7, consisting of eight dual-connector stations that allow up to 16 vehicles to charge at once.
Renovations are planned for the property’s North Tower, which aim to refresh and modernize each space, enhancing comfort and style and providing an elevated experience for every guest.
In addition to the renovated rooms, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will add two new restaurants to its landscape. The first, called Sitar, aims to offer an elevated traditional Indian dining experience and will be located on the first floor near Sound Waves.
The second new culinary entry comes via Philadelphia, as Federal Donuts & Chicken will be bringing their fresh donuts and Korean-style crispy fried chicken to the Hard Rock. The concept has built a loyal following since launching in 2011 and will be situated on the second floor near the hotel elevators.
The hotel is also focused on giving back to the community as part of their refresh, hoping to be a part of Atlantic City’s reinvention. Since opening in the summer of 2018, Hard Rock Atlantic City has contributed over $1 million annually to support local charities through their Boardwalk 1000 Foundation.
“Hard Rock Atlantic City supports local organizations and initiatives focused on education, food security, youth development, and social equity, helping drive Atlantic City’s ongoing economic and cultural revitalization,” the company said in a statement while announcing details of the project.
The Hard Rock is the latest in a long line of renovation projects that have been undertaken at Atlantic City’s casinos and hotels in recent years. The Borgata underwent a $50 million makeover in 2023, while the Tropicana recently re-opened their 600-room Solana Tower following a major renovation.
