Burlington will be opening its 41st location in New Jersey later this year in space just a short walk from the Hudson River in Edgewater.
Burlington recently announced that they will be bringing a new outpost to Edgewater Commons at 547 River Road. The brand, founded in 1972 as Burlington Coat Factory, operates 832 stores scattered throughout 45 different states.
Burlington’s new Edgewater location will offer customers the discounted deals the company is known for and will feature an updated and clean store design. Departments at the new digs will include ladies’ apparel and accessories, menswear, casual finds for kids, unisex footwear, infant and toddler sections, home décor items, and pet care and toy areas.
The new store, to be situated next to the Target in Edgewater Commons, will participate in the company’s layaway program and those interested in applying for jobs can visit Burlington’s website. While the company has not announced an exact opening date for their latest location, the store is expected to launch later this spring.
