top website in jersey cityAugust numbers are in and Jersey Digs is getting big!

What began as a hobby a little over a year ago, has since grown to be one of the largest websites in Hudson County.

According to SimilarWeb, Jersey Digs now ranks as the 2nd largest website by visitor count in Hudson County, behind only NJ.com. Considering NJ.com is a conglomerate of various NJ newspapers, including the nearly 150-year-old Jersey Journal, we’re OK being #2.

But we’re not here to boast. We wouldn’t have made it this far without our loyal readers. It’s your interest in, and dedication to, our local communities that allows us to continue writing. Without our readers, Jersey Digs would have dried up a long time ago. For your dedication, we say thank you.

In the coming months, we have a lot of great initiatives planned. For one, expect a major update to the development map, which will add Hoboken, Bayonne, Harrison, and Newark projects, as well as 50+ new Jersey City projects.

As we grow, we hope to reach a scale in which we have the revenue required to not only keep digging up the news that’s important to you but also to create more feature length pieces that delve deeper into the fabric of our community.

By reading Jersey Digs, know that you’re supporting our mission of providing quality hyper-local news about the places most important to you.

We’re also open to suggestions. Is there something you want to see more of? Or maybe something you’d like to see less of? Is there something we aren’t covering? Let us know in the comments. At the end of the day, we’re doing this for you – the reader.

PS: If you’re a business owner, wouldn’t it be great to highlight your business on the 2nd largest website in Hudson County? It doesn’t have to be a real estate business either. Sure, our readers love real estate, but they also eat, drink, live, play, and work in Jersey City and Hoboken. We have special rates for small businesses and can put together custom campaigns that convert. Your success is our success. Email us at [email protected] for more info.
