Are you a strategic leader with deep expertise in insurance and annuity solutions? We’re looking for somebody to lead our Insurance & Annuity Solutions business across the Americas, shaping the future of our platform and delivering a differentiated, advisor-centric experience. In this role, you’ll set the strategic direction and drive the continued growth of our insurance and annuity offering. You’ll lead high-performing product and sales specialist teams, ensuring seamless delivery, strong adoption, and an integrated approach to wealth solutions for our clients and financial advisors.
Your Team: You will join the US Investment Solutions team within CIO & Investment Management Americas, working alongside senior leaders responsible for Advisory Platform & Sales, Manager Due Diligence, and Wealth Planning. In this role, you will lead a team of Insurance and Annuity Product and Sales Specialists who partner closely with UBS Financial Advisors, delivering solutions and expertise across the platform while collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership across Insurance & Annuity product and sales specialist teams, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting talent development.
- Drive the execution of strategic priorities and key initiatives aligned to broader business objectives.
- Act as a representative for the business, partnering with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Partner with leadership across the firm to identify opportunities for growth, scale, and operational efficiency.
- Support field leadership and financial advisors by delivering expert guidance, tools, and hands-on leadership.
- Represent Insurance & Annuity Solutions in firm-wide initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Lead and optimize the end-to-end education and sales lifecycle, enhancing advisor engagement and client experience.
- Oversee the development and growth of Private Placement Insurance and Annuity solutions, ensuring strong integration within the broader platform.
- Champion the adoption of technology and tools to improve efficiency, scalability, and service delivery.
- Resolve complex service challenges and proactively mitigate risks impacting sales and client outcomes.
- Design and deliver training and education programs to ensure a consistent, advisor-friendly experience.
- Partner with Marketing to develop and execute initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Central Supervision, Operations, Licensing, IT, and other key partners to ensure seamless execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
- Ideally 10+ years of experience in financial services, with strong exposure to insurance and annuity solutions.
- Required licenses: SIE, Series 7, Series 66 (or equivalent), and Series 24 (or ability to obtain within 60 days), Life & Health Insurance license.
- Strong track record in insurance and annuity solutions, including fixed, variable, and private placement annuities, as well as a broad suite of insurance products (life, disability, P&C, PPLI, long-term care, and business solutions).
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
Compensation & Benefits
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
- United States – New Jersey – Weehawken: min USD 300,000 – max USD 450,000 per annum.
The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to role-required experience, qualifications, education, location, and skill level.
