As an Executive Director on Corporate Technology’s Portfolio Management & Governance team, you will drive core elements of portfolio planning, investment governance, executive reporting, and process/tooling improvement across a large global technology portfolio. This is a hands-on individual contributor role: you will execute and own defined workstreams end-to-end, operate with strong autonomy, and influence stakeholders through clear, data-driven insights. You will help translate strategy into execution-ready plans and contribute to the teams broader transformation agenda—streamlining processes, improving data quality and tooling, strengthening controls and audit readiness, and personally building and operating AI-enabled solutions to increase efficiency and quality.
Job Responsibilities
- Portfolio planning & investment hygiene:Â Drive the annual planning cycles for Corporate Technology, in partnership with Finance & Business Management; own discrete planning workstreams as assigned; set standards, calendars, and guardrails;Â Drive consistency in intra-year planning approaches across CT.
- Portfolio governance & oversight: Enhance the governance operating model for Corporate Technology’s portfolio; ensure investment decisions align with strategy and financial targets. Maintain intra-year controls for reprioritization, funding moves, and exception management. Provide transparency, actionability, and clear recommendations to senior stakeholders; escalate risks, issues, and roadblocks early.
- Executive insights & reporting : Produce executive-ready insights on budget vs. actuals vs. forecast, delivery health, value realization , and risk posture; Establish consistent metrics and dashboards; ensure parity across self-serve APIs and curated views.
- Process excellence, tooling & AI enablement: Identify and implement targeted improvements across the portfolio lifecycle: intake → prioritization → approval → tracking → value realization; Partner with product/engineering teams and platform owners to improve tooling adoption, data quality, and automation; Apply AI-enabled approaches to increase efficiency and quality
- Risk, controls & audit readiness:Â Embed strong controls in portfolio processes; maintain audit-ready evidence, lineage, and documentation. Develop and implement strategic technical program plans, aligning with organizational goals and cross-functional collaboration
- Stakeholder management & influence:Â Partner with Engineering, Product, Finance, and Business Management to align on priorities, dependencies, and outcomes. Coordinate with enterprise investment governance and line-of-business stakeholders to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Sets enterprise strategy for reuse-first adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate program planning, risk synthesis, and executive reporting, with human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate handling of sensitive data.
- Defines and enforces enterprise guardrails for AI-assisted and agentic workflows used in program governance and delivery routines, including control boundaries, traceability/auditability, and review/approval expectations aligned to resiliency and security standards.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations
- Demonstrated proficiency in technical solutions, vendor product knowledge, managing vendor relations, and implementing solutions
- Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives
- Proven ability in leading through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environments
- Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives
- Ability to lead complex technology project and program execution, managing resources, budgets, and timelines while mitigating risks and addressing roadblocks
- Partner with key stakeholders to guide selection and implementation of appropriate technologies, platforms and software tools leveraging advanced technical fluency
- Deliver continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities, incorporating best practices, and staying abreast of emerging technologies
- Demonstrated experience leading safe adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment at firm scale, including validation practices, data sensitivity considerations, and measurable delivery outcomes.
- Ability to establish governance and decision frameworks for AI-assisted and agentic workflows, including human approval checkpoints and auditability aligned to resiliency, security, and operational risk expectations.
