Could Holland’s Model for Dementia and Alzhiemer’s Care Find a Home in Jersey City?
A Dutch architect, Frank van Dillen came up with an amazing solution to care for dementia sufferers called De Hogeweyk, or Dementia Village. In effect, it is a small village, complete with streets, gardens, stores, restaurants, theaters, and more - all staffed by trained care professionals. Could this concept work in Jersey City?
